A wonderful time ..
|
Join the
GOP-Course
and become self-reliant!
When you decide to take up 4x4-driving
there are many things to be considered. The car costs a heap of money and
may be badly damaged if wrongly handled or stuck in a bad spot or a river.
If you are not accustomed to driving on gravel-roads you simply must get
some advice to be prepared. Many an accident has occurred in situations
where sudden obstacles present themselves dangerously near the moving car.
On vacation everything has to succeed. It must become a
wonderful time for you and everyone in your company. To make it a success
you should take your time for a short and effective course - a GOP-course. |

A
one - day
excursion

Reykjavik at 24:00

The stoneman ..
In a one-day-trip the plan is packed to get the
feelings of tracks and open rivers and yet be back at the hotel in the
evening. |
| >> |
A longer excursion
When there are more days for the excursion the schedule is more lenient.
The way may go partly around the island and partly into the highland
visiting attractive places as well as practicing in negotioating tracks
and open rivers. |
| Tracks .. !?

|
*
Tracks may have little in common - even if all are passable. The
Icelandic highland offers lava and gravel, deserts, snow in high places
and glaciers on top. |
Open
rivers

.. and crossings
|
*
The rivers are studied methodically and participants are trained in
wading and analysing the factors that affect the possible crossing.

In wintertime the snow and ice are sure to provide for unexpected
factors. |
.. and always
there are
sights to see |
